How to Measure Your Stairs

1. Runner Width

Measure the exact width you want the runner to be. Common widths are 60cm, 70cm, or 80cm. Each flight can have a different width.

2. Tread Depth

Measure the horizontal depth of one step from front to back.

3. Riser Height

Measure the vertical height of one step from top to bottom.

4. Number of Steps

Count all the steps in each flight separately.
